Rules
1) Please be literate, this involves proper: Grammar, punctuation and spelling. Sometimes spelling may be hard, but use spell check down at the bottom of the page, when unsure of a word that's what its there for.
2) No chatspeak in roleplays: This involves, gtg, g2g, bi bi, brb, lol, lmao, anything! Unless you are making your characters use MSN messenger, emails or texting... then it's different, and you may use them.
3) No Mary Sues or Gary Stus, quite frankly this gets very ANNOYING, It's not tolerable. At all. This means a character who may have an introduction like this, or is described like this:
'Shannon was a lovely girl, she was the most prettiest and popularist girl in the school. All the guys wanted to date her, and all the girls wanted to be her best friend. Shannon had platinum blonde hair, that was much better than everyone else's, and light sparkling blue eyes that most adored. She was he cheer-leading captain, and most slim girl. Same goes for male characters that are 'perfect' everyone has flaws.
4) Show clearly when you are speaking out of character, It helps us not to get confused. Use ((brackets)) or something to indicate you are not talking in character.
5) Length of posts, this is a must seeing as were literate, we urge you to type more than three or four sentences, this is the least we expect. If you have trouble, try describing feelings, the setting, or what they are thinking.
6) No spamming, this means that you don't post another post directly after you just did... this is what the 'modify' buttons are for on the bottom of posts, use them please. This also means you may not advertise in the c-box or via PM. Only advertise in the advertising section.
7) No Power-play or God-moding, this is unfair, the person has created a character to roleplay with it. You may not control someone else's character, ever. The person has a right to control their own characters.
8) Sexual Threads, are NOT allowed on the site. This is simply because the site must be kept PG-13. I will not risk losing this site due to a thread, which would be violating the terms of service you agreed to when you signed up.
9) Accounts - you may have up to as many accounts as you wish, as long as you PLEASE keep them all active, and don't ditch one after you made another. You may only have one character pair account and you may not use '[[ or // or ♥' or something along those lines in your characters accounts.
10) No Racist, Sexist, Bashing, Inappropriate terms or pornographic images. Yes, I have labeled them all together because, we're not going to get shut down by proboards for your mistakes: We are NOT going to abuse our members, But we ARE going to be respectful and helpful toward people.
11) Have fun and help If maybe someone's new to the site, and has asked you for help, help them. Its always nice and reassuring to make people feel more welcomed. And kids, it's no fun roleplaying unless you actually have FUN! Remember, fun is in fundamentals.
12) Keep things realistic, don't all of a sudden make your character best friends forever with a character they would otherwise be totally against.
