{BUT FIRST YOU MUST LEARN HOW TO SMILE WHILE YOU KILL}
clothes
So... Konstantine just stood outside of Pizza Hut just... standing. Yes. Just. Standing. Why? She had no idea, honestly. She just knew that she was standing. She had a bit of money with her in her small black purse, and she was hungry... so why the hell not? I mean, who didn't like pizza hut anyway? Really. Everyone loved Pizza Hut. Their pizza was so good and cheesy and yummy and delicious and fattening.. wait. Scratch that. Lets just pretend that I never mentioned fattening and Koni can momentarily forget that she's on a diet.
She's always on a diet. Always? Pretty much always.
No matter what, Koni is never satisfied with her apearance. She could always be skinnier. She could always be healthier. She could always be prettier. She could always be more fit. She could always be more stylish. She could always strive to be perfect, but never reach it. So Koni was pretty much far from a perfectionist, but she sorta wished she could be one, just so she could at least be one bit closer to perfect than she was. God only knows the reason why, too. Everyone told her she was perfect just the way she was.. but as much as she smiled and nodded, deep down inside, she just couldn't believe that. She knew she wasn't perfect. But she knew that she wanted to be.
But nevermind that. It was Saturday. It was noon [or close to it] It was nice outside. Konstantine had put on something skimpy [when didn't she? and besides, it was hot] and oh-so stylish and attractive, and gone on a walk. One would think her brown boots, blue dress, red belt, and bleach blonde hair would clash horrendously, but they didn't. In fact, her whole outfit worked. She felt lovely today. She felt pretty. She felt like running and singing and laughing around everywhere. She wanted to dance and jump around, not caring who watched. She wanted to have a good time.
But she wanted a friend.
Smiling, the thin girl slipped through the door, grimicing as she heard the ringing of the annoying bell that hung from the door frame. Pulling the sunglasses off her face to reveal her eyeliner encircled eyes and mascared eyelashes, Koni placed them on her head, ruffling her hair a bit to get it settled. She walked up and placed her elbows on the counter, leaning foreward to look at the menu. "Uhmm... I'll take.. the lunch buffett." she said casually, placing her money on the counter.
Sure, it would be a drag eating alone, but at least she had her sidekick to entertain her.

Music makes the day.
 She said with a smile. The guy nodded, smiled and looked her up and down, though Brodie was totally oblivious to his advance. "Sure, so you like in the band then?" He asked with a cheeky smiled. "Yeah, thanks by the way we appreciated it." Well how hard was it to miss the fact he was flirting with her? "Second Star Right, I've heard of you guys. Apparently you're quite good. I'll be there." "Oh ok, thanks." She said looking back to the menu and puzzling over what she wanted. Brodie how hard was it to miss that! [/blockquote][/ul]

{SO WHAT'S IT GONNA TAKE SILVER SHADOW BELIEVER?}
Smiling, Konstantine walked away from the counter after receiving her change, one foot neatly placed infront of the other, boots clicking on the linoleum flooring. She was aware that another person had entered the restaurant, but didn't even bother to look at who it was. If it was someone who knew her, they would have screamed out her name and most likely tackled her. That is, if they were a friend. If it was an enemy, they would have screamed out something like "BITCH" or "WHORE" or "SLUTBITCH" or something along the lines of that.
So, for Koni, it was safe to assume this person was a complete stranger. Luckly for her, she was right. As she perused around the buffett tables, debating on whether to get pizza or salad, she heard a conversation between the guy behind the counter and the other customer. Peering around the covering of the buffett table, she watched the guy clearly flirting with the girl as she continued to talk about her band, the mans flirtatiousness going unnoticed.
Konstantine couldn't help but smirk.
Walking around the tables, she approached the two, her curiosity and nosyness getting the best of her. "Second Star Right?" she asked out of the blue. "I've heard of you guys, actually. Word on the street is that you're one of the few good bands out of LA these days." she continued smiling as she walked closer, her miniature size being dwarfed by the other girl. I mean, seriously. Koni was only 5'2. And 100lbs. But nevermind that.
"Konstantine Bellagio," she extended her hand towards the girl, still smiling, then realized this was the perfect oppourtunity for some shameless self-promoting. "I'm a photographer, and I'd be happy to do some advertizing or shoots for you guys or something." Laughing, she shook head to ruffle up her hair. "I'll shoot your next gig, even, if you'd like me to. Not that I'm trying to come on to strong..." she added quickly, chuckling. Hell, if this was how she was going to get a job, then so be it. She needed the money. Desperately.

Take delight in the little things.
 She scratched her head slightly, she looked at the ground. Wow someone had heard of them, someone knew who they were. Brodie felt strangely, mystified by that idea yet at the same time beyond excited. It was amazing to think that even one person was interested. She laughed slightly and raised an eyebrow. "Oh wow, your a photographer! Thats so cool, definitely we'll have to talk about it over lunch or something, if you know, your not busy..." She would hate to think she had disturbed her day after all Brodie hated being disturbed herself. It was one of those irritating things she hated if people bumped in when she had plans. "I'd really love it if you worked with the band."Someone was offering to work with the band, well that was a first and she was going to grab it. [/blockquote][/ul]

{THE RIBBON ON MY WRIST SAYS "DO NOT OPEN BEFORE CHRISTMAS"}
"Shin-dig?" Koni laughed, shoving her thumbs into her pockets. "Well, I wouldn't call it that, exactly. But I do know some guys who have no life and practically live at the local venues getting wasted, and they've mentioned to me a few times about just how 'absolutely amazing' Second Star Right were and how hott the bassist was.." she trailed off, eyeing the girl before continuing. "But I wouldn't get your hopes up. None of them are even remotely attractive."
Laughing quietly, she let her eyes drift off to wander the walls for a moment. The thought occured to her that this girl might be wondering how Koni knew that she was the bassist. It wouldn't have been the first time that the petite girl knew someone without them knowing that she ever existed. In this case, however, she only knew who this girl was because her drunken friends had described to her in detail everything about her, and it had gotten extremely annoying. But they had rambled on about it so much that it had somehow gotten imprinted in her memory.
Her attention was brought back to the girl as she spoke again, welcoming her invitation to photograph the band. "Great! Well, I'm about to sit down and eat, and I've got nothing planned until far later tonight, so if you're willing to talk it over now I'm more than ready." Red painted lips were parted in a smile to reveal rows of perfect white teeth, showing just how much Konstantine cared for her appearance. It was a miracle that she wasn't broke from buying all those teeth-whitening things at Wal-Mart. I mean, seriously. She went through those like lightening. And it was probably because she was addicted to coffee. That probably didn't help her teeth from turning yellow. And it probably didn't help her ADHD either. Oh dear.

Walk the string.
 She said nervously scratching her head looking like some sort of confused six year old, oh what a fine rock star she was. Male attention was just something she didn't understand nore did she really want. Smiling lightly she needed. "Lunch sounds good I'm starving, been running round town all bloody morning get stuff sorted for the gig." She said looking back to the menu and ordering herself a buffet. "Lets grab a table." Brodie suggested as she took her messenger bag off and looked round spotting a table half way to the back, nodding in the general direction of it she began walking with a half smile smile and dumped her stuff. She was feeling rather pleased with herself for once, she was manging to make friends with one instead of starting a fight, wow. Brodie was rather puzzled as to how much this girl knew about her, then again she was rather puzzled as to who her friends were, then again another part of her was quite freaked out to think that there are people who have never met her but know her. {JEANNIE DON'T YOU CRY, YOU'VE GOT THE WHOLE WORLD COMING BACK TO YOU}
A larger smile crept to Konis lips as she nodded, smiling. "Well, not meaning to be mean or anything, but they were drunk, so god knows if they were even looking at you..." she chuckled, shaking her head. "But, in their defense..." she trailed off, tapping her chin while grinning. "You are rather pretty."
Oh, nice going Koni. Compliment all your potential clients until they agree for you to work for them. Brilliant way of running a business, girl, brilliant. And maybe if you keep this up, you'll be photographing Pete Wentz, showering him with comments that will only boost his ego to god knows how high.
Hah. As if he needed an ego boost anyway.
Following the girl to the table, Koni set her purse down in the seat opposite from the girls things, then turned around and walked to the buffet. Finally deciding on a salad, she grabbed a bowl, approached the salad bar, and filled the bowl with lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, cheese, and various other vegetables, topping it off with fat-free ranch dressing. Yeah. Fat-free. Forget about the never-ending diet, did we? Pity. Pity.
After she reached the table again, she waited for her companion to return before she actually even stuck her fork into her salad. "Well.." she said, starting up the conversation once again. "I usually like to get to know my clients- excuse me, potential clients, before working with them. This is probably the first time where I've known nothing about who I was going to shoot, except for your bands name." she laughed and shook her head, rolling her eyes playfully before taking a bite out of her salad. "My 'venue buddies' were a bit vague on the details..."

And hit those drums! She explained with a smile. Wow it was getting serious wasn't it. This was what Brodie wanted to do. She wanted to make a living by playing her bass and she would do that with her band she was sure of it now. It had started out as jamming in the music department two years ago and now it had transformed in to a fully fledged band who were ready to start recording soon. Wow plans did really change didn't they. [/blockquote][/ul]

{THE WORDS I WRITE ARE CHEAP AND TRITE.
A smile seemed to be plastered on the young girls lips now, her white teeth showing in perfect rows, a symbol of her obsession with her appearance. Konstantine took another bite from her salad, her eyes drifting away to look at the pictures that lined the walls. "Uhm.. I don't think I quite caught your name...?" she said quizically, gaze returning to her companion. Was she intentionally keeping her name from Koni, or had she just forgotten that Koni didn't know her name. Whatever the reason was, she didn't care. She just liked to call people by their name. It really, really, bothered her if she knew someone but not their name. Don't ask why, Konis OCD, so that should explain some of her odd obsessions.
"Well, once you've gotten signed and are headlining world tours and are winning shitloads of VMA's, just don't forget that tiny little girl who took those photos and showed the world your sexyness." she chuckled before forking more salad into her mouth. This was actually turning out to be a rather nice lunch by her standards. Usually random ugly guys asked to sit with her when she sat alone and tried to hit on her, and usually left with their own drink being flung into their face. Yes, their own. What, you think Koni was stupid enough to throw her drink that she had paid for at the guy? Psh. She was not about to go waste money and perfectly good Coke like that. Not ever, and certainly not now. She didn't have the money for it. Yet.
[ooc; YAY! Koni muse has returned! ...slightly xp]
